Scott McDowell
A southern California native, Scott cites his biggest musical influence to
be his family, who have always listened to a wide variety of music. This
plus his own love of "jam bands" continues to keep him developing a
creative, soulful guitar style. In '94 he completed a nine state tour
with a San Diego band that gave him some great insight as to the nuts and
bolts of a working recording project, as well as getting to see parts of
the U.S. in a whole new way. In recent years, Scott has had the pleasure
of performing and writing with some of his favorite local musicians who
share an expanded view of musical possibilities.
